Are You a Young South African? Apply Now For The Global Citizen Fellowship!
The team at Brownie Points is excited to announce this awesome opportunity now available for young South Africans! On 2 December 2018 Tyler Perry and BeyGOOD made an amazing commitment on the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 stage, and now it’s all coming to life…
Funded by Tyler Perry through BeyGOOD, the Global Citizen Fellowship Program will unearth South African youth with remarkable potential. Through the program, 10-15 young people will each engage in a paid, year-long fellowship aligned to one of Global Citizen’s four pillars of activity: creative, campaigns, rewards, and marketing.
This dynamic program will take Fellows through a five-phase curriculum, specifically designed to equip them with the skills and tools they need to thrive — not just during their time with Global Citizen but also in any future professional environments. Throughout the program, Fellows will be immersed in the use of digital technology for social change, storytelling tactics that shift attitudes, the importance of building lasting professional relationships, and the role of innovation in a constantly changing world.
If you’re a South African between the ages of 18 and 28, or have an eligible family member or friend, head over to the Global Citizen website for more info.
